The Journey Begins... Friday 8/25
On Friday morning Lenny led a group of excited kids and their chaperones toward the gate for the trip of a lifetime....... New York and the US OPEN! More to come once they land in the big apple!
Saturday... Arthur Ashe Kids Day!
Saturday was an exciting day for the One Love Kids... Arthur Ashe Kids Day! They received instruction on the US Open Courts and were given a special treat. Katrina Adams, USTA President, brought the One Love kids up for a visit to the President's Suite in Ashe Stadium for food, drinks and A/C. A once in a lifetime experience for any tennis player!
Sunday... Practice Makes Perfect
At One Love, on of the most important lessons that we try to teach is that success is earned through preparation, hard work and having the right attitude so we spent Sunday watching the pros practice and prepare for the Open. Ohh yeah.... and the Bryan Brothers stopped in to meet and talk to the One Love Trio.
Monday... Opening Day at the US Open
Opening day at the US Open! The kids took in the day session at Arthur Ashe Stadium, got a history lesson with Lenny and got autographs from some of their heros.
